Adding XM
« on: May 05, 2013, 09:53:28 AM »

Morning, waiting on my manuals but did anyone try to add the XM module on the 2013 bike yet? I would like to know what would be the part numbers for the harness that would be needed.

Hi Trey,

The Kit part number is 76404-06.
FLTR models require the additional purchase of a Non-Ultra Overlay Harness (Part Number 70169-06) and an
Antenna Bracket (Part Number 76316-06).  If two modules are already installed on top of the radio, two
Dual-Lock TM mounts, Part Number 76434-06, are required.

Greg, I just looked at the accessory book, and it says that the overlay harness 70169-06a is not for CVO's 11 and later. Did you try it?

Trey,
I got the information above from the Harley website. I'm not sure which catalog you used. I installed XM on my 2009 but then, you had to install the Ultra wiring harness.

Greg, the accessory catalog said 11 and later CVO's. I may try it anyway and let you know. When I down load the I sheet, it doesn't mention anything like that.
