In the spirit of helping each other purchase new CVO's from various dealers around the country, I have been searching for a new rifle, and guess what none to be found. Is it possible that we start a thread where we can post when we see hard to find firearms? If anybody sees a DPMS Compact Hunter or a Rock River Arms Elite operator, I'm trying to purchase one before I head to TX to hunt ferrel pigs. Thanks in advance,

I'm a gun nut also and could buy 3 CVO's for what my collection is worth...........but since this is a Harley CVO forum I keep my gun discussions on the appropriate forums.  The moderators will probably kill this post before it goes too far.

As the mod for this thread I see nothing againest our rules of posting so far. We need to keep it informative without political statements and unless I get over ruled from up the chain of command it will be allowed to run. After all most of you are adults and there is nothing lllegal about owning guns (yet).

No shortage of weapons. YET LOL... Mags and semi autos selling quickly... Don't forget ammo... Selling by the pallet in some places.

I have been PM'ed about my post. Seems the (yet) possibly made the statement political to some. To make a political statement was not my intention. The (yet) was a reference to owning weapons/guns in my home state as we all know some states, cities, etc in the United States limit or prohibit ownership. So having said that I suppose I have violated the rules of posting and will be removing myself from the moderator's position. This is a great site and has some great folks participating in it operation. Thanks to Naitram, the moderators and other members for allowing me to participate.

There is a great app for the Ipad for those needing state by state laws concerning concealed carry.  It's called "gun conceal" and has a wealth of info on just about anything you could want to know on the subject.  Gets automatic updates whenever there are any new rulings or laws passed.  Check it out.  Also wanted to add that personally I think that the Moderators do an outstanding job keeping this site civil and free from running amok on sensitive subjects. It has to be difficult sometimes with so many posts each day.

You may want to look at this thread - Lets not be controversial, but lets talk about gun control and before this goes down the same road it is now locked.
