no tinny sound either way that i noticed on mine. just received the D xpipe from fullsac so i will report back  as soon as i get it installed and tuned

I did not disturb the packing when I installed my 2" cores.  I had a couple of strands of fiberglass hanging out the exhaust a few days later, but none after that.  Haven't noticed it getting louder over time, but that's hard to detect.  I would not want mine any louder...

My exhaust is way too quiet stock....I'm used to loud, my softail custom has big radius with big city thunders...just don't want so load to mess with radio or a bad type of tinny sound...

I do not hear anything 'tinny' and as far as the radio, when I have it cranked I hear the 2" but never over the radio, then when the radio is lowered the sound is just right for me... just saying...
