Not sure how it is for you but $56.00 beats $369.00 any day for me.

I have this on my 09 SEUC.

Good luck!

Thanks for the plug.

I'm in the testing stage for a new design that is completely hands free. No need to install a switch or use the Auxiliary switch. The new design does not use the PTT switch either. It is adjustable which will help with some cell phones that do not have adjustments for volume in the phones Bluetooth settings. The installation has been simplified; you only need to deal with one wire. It will be available in a week or two as soon as I finish road testing it. I'm waiting for the rain to stop. The tests so far are positive in that the quality of the call has been improved.

I will stop making the two current versions and replace them both with this new version. It will sell for around $65.00 shipped in the continental US.

Keep an eye on the web site for the release.

If you can ride to Delaware I have a test module that can be used to test the interface cable out before you buy or install it on the bike, this takes about 10 minutes. Sorry I won't be selling the test module as they cost as much to build as the interface cable itself. I will even install it for you for $40.00.

I use the Cell Set from Kennedy Technology (purchased from www.cyclegadgets.com).  Best add on I've used.  Integrates the Zumo, GPS, MP3 with the HD CB, CD, FM, AM, and intercom.

My buddy had the J&M and sent it back.  I waited until he had the Cell Set to buy.  It's a great product.

A quick question on the cell set device....
Does this gadget send all audio through the speakers as well as the headsets?
eg. listening to audio from a Zumo 550 through the speakers and permitting an audio alert from a radar detector to sound through the speakers as well?

If your talking about the Interface Cable I make, YES.

I think the Kennedy does also, but I'm not sure about it.

No, the Zumo, MP3 and telephone sound goes through the HD intercom which is headset only.  Which means you must use a headset with mike for the Cell Set.

If you want the sound to go through the HD speakers you can us the Audio out from the Zumo to Aux input  on the HD and will get all the audio prompts etc.

I have the kit installed on my 2008 ultra classic and I LOVE IT!  The product does what it says it is suppose to do. It does not radically alter or change the outward look of your bike, as all of the components fit nice and neatly under the fairing or under your seat depending. It integrates my smart phone (a Blackberry) for hands free normal conversations, my GPS (Street-Pilot 2720) and my radar detector (a Passport 9500ix, by Escort). I installed it my self! the instructions are pretty straight forward and it takes about 45 Min (if you've never done any type of electrical work on your bike before)! Understand, the the system you are referring to is a general system. You will need to purchase a specific power and audio connection kits for your specific class of radar detector and phone. I personally chose the Blue-tooth phone option, as this would allow me to use newer phones in the future without having to radically change my phone connections to this device. The phone talk switch is the only thing you will see on the left handlebar, (where the mirror mounts).   8)!!

How did you add the radar detector?  I have the same one and thought that would be a great thing to do.
