Garage door opener
« on: January 13, 2013, 06:05:20 PM »

I just installed the Truck Lite Phase 7 LED head light, passing lamps and the harness so that the passing lamps stay on when using the high beams.  Since I installed the bypass harness, my automatic garage door opener (flipping the high and low beam) does not work.  Has this happened to anyone else who installed the harness for the passing lamps?  I hate to loose this handy feature on my Ultra.

Thanks.  I will try to reprogram the GDO unit. I also read some other posts regarding the HD bypass harness.  I wonder if using the Kuryahan bypass is the same as the HD bypass?

I pulled out the twin bulb harness on my sg. Didn't need it for the phase 7 headlight. .

I had trouble with my opener.  Mine was the receiver that plugs into the wall.  Make sure the red light is still on.  Bought a new receiver and the problem was solved.  My dealer said he had sold a couple of receivers because they went bad.
