Motorcycle Travel Network
« on: March 20, 2007, 11:17:51 PM »

I posted this last year but thought I'd post it again for those of you who missed it.

The Motorcycle Travel Network http://www.motorcycle-travel.net is a non-profit org dedicated to offering riders very inexpensive places to stay across the country. I joined last year and have had a couple great riders stop and spend the night at my house. I know a lot of folks are traveling many days and many miles to get to some of the CVO rides like Nelson BC.  While you are on your trip wouldn’t it be fun to spend the night at the home of fellow mc enthusiasts for just a couple bucks rather than spending $100’s for a motel room night after night. Check out this website I think you’ll find it worth your while. By the way I’m a member as well as some of the other CVO’ers.

Since my original post I have had several more bikers stop and stay at my house for a day or 2. I have nothing but good things to say about my guests. By the way I will also make my house available for CVO'ers also No Charge. I live in Tracy Ca. Close to I-5, 99, 205,580, 680. Just PM me with your arrival date and I'll let you know if I am in town.

Tired of paying $100 plus for night's stay in a motel? Are you looking to take that long cross country ride but the motel costs hamper your travel budget? How about spending $15 per night instead (includes breakfast).  For those folks that are new to the site or missed my posting in the past I'd like to introduce you to the motorcycle travel network.
My wife and I have been a member since 2006 and have used the network many times while traveling around the country. We have also had many riders from all over the US & Canada stop and spend the night with us. I have never had a bad experience either staying with or hosting other riders. All guests have been extremely interesting and we enjoy swapping stories about motorcycle touring.
