Difference Between PV1 and PV2??
« on: January 31, 2013, 03:54:22 PM »

For those that know, what is the difference between the Dynojet PV1 and PV2?  I have a 2013 Breakout and a 2013 Sportster Seventy Two.  Based on what I see on the Dynojet website, it appears that the PV2 will not work with sporster models-is that correct?  I was hoping to buy two licenses and tune both bikes.  Thanks.

pv-1 is the standard j1850 connector while the pv-2 is the can bus.  (i think) you can still do what you are wanting to do, you'll just have to buy another cable.  not very expensive, this is straight from dynojets website.

correct - the tuner is exactly the same, it's only the cables that need to be swapped to tune two bikes.  you do need a dual license though $199 direct from dynojet.
