Check pin no.
« on: March 07, 2013, 09:35:32 PM »

Hi All
I set the pin number in the bike and didn't write it down. :(
I usually use 4 or 6 digits for pin but bike is 5 so I don't remember how I modified it.
I checked the 'changing the pin' in the handbook.
After going thru the initialisation process to change the pin , the current pin comes up with the first digit flashing.
If I switch the ignition off at this point , I have viewed the current pin and then stored it again ?
Or will I lose it?
Do I have to go thru the process of entering the pin as each digit flashes and store it again?
Thanks

The current PIN is what is displayed.  Flashing digit can be changed from it's current selection.  So you can either leave it be (having learned what it is) or change it to something new from its current selection.

Thanks Don.
Thats pretty much what I figured.
I didn't want the risk of corrupting the existing pin by exiting with a flashing digit.
I thought I'd get a second opinion before I started to play.
