Tour-Pack Passenger Armrests
« on: February 17, 2013, 07:57:40 PM »

Can any of you Ultra riders provide any information on the new Tour-Pack Passenger Armrests, Harley part number 52400074. The wife rides a Limited and is considering buying one to put on her bike.  Any information and/or experience would be appreciated.  Thanks.

From what I've read, as long as she doesn't have an amp under her tour pack she should be alright. I'd hold off for better confirmation though.

I have the Kuryakyn removable ones. The wife loves them and and they are off in 1 min. Unlike alot of Kury Bling, they are very well made and have held up fine for last 4 yrs.

Do you have an amp under the tourpack and if so what's the part number?

Sorry for the slow answer OBB. Yep, Amp under tour pak and George Anderson relocator an fits no prob. Kury # 8979. They don't have the little storage thingy, but do have a fold away drink holder and came with a perfect huggy. My bride has never used the holder, as she wears a full-face(fraidycat). Don't remember the details but less than $250 and I'm sure from Fleabay. Everything I buy thats not genu HD comes from there. I guarantee your BSR will loveum.

I have a 2012 Limited with the new armrest from Harley. My loves them. We ride cross country and it's all about comfort for her. The better I can make it for her the better she is at the end of the day.
I also have the George ANderson relocator. It take a extra hand to get everything lined up but it can be done with couple longer bolts.

My wife does have the George Anderson re-locater and she did have the HD armrests installed by our dealer with no issue.  Hers were only the second set installed by the dealer.  The dealer only asked, "what location do you want the tour pack in"?  The do look good and although they have not been used yet, I project that they will be enjoyed by the granddaughter.

I have the Kuryakyn also. I like it and appreciate the quick-detach feature. The DW likes the fold-away cup holder.
