Since the radios are different in the CUSE's than in previous models, even if that module was added, I am posting this here.

TC,
You can buy all the stuff at Radio shack to do just what you need to.  Total was about $55 for the meter, 2 cables and the one or 2 adapters needed to connect to the wiring.  Then the operation requires cutting off the stock antenna until the meter reading gets low enough.  On the Freedom antennas, just "adjust" the knurled ring to get the minimum reading when on channel 19 or 20.  Then check the readings at the ends (chans 1 & 40).  They will be higher, but only marginally so.  You're then good to go (after "locking" the adjusting ring to keep it from self adjusting).  If I remember, I'll post the part #'s you need to get the stuff at the shack.

TC,
Here's the parts list- I can't take credit for it, another member created it, I'm only passing it on, but it worked great for me.

1- #21-534 Power SWR Meter
1- #278-208C adapter (this one either goes from coax to male antenna end or coax (have to cut lead) to female antenna end)
1- #274-710A adapter- this is the other one noted from above
2- #278-968 cables each is about 12" long with coax connectors on each end.

If you'll get the meter and bring it to MV, I'll bring my cables and we can tune your antennas, and anybody elses who wants to.  Just bring what ever tool you may need to adjust your specific antenna.  Stock just takes a small allen wrench and a pair of side cutters.  The Freedom antennas should only take a bottle of Loctite to hold the knurled nut after adjustment.  Someplace about "dead center with 8 threads showing" was what was given in the original thread.  Let me know if you want me to bring my cables.
I'M READY TO RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  COME ON MAGGIE VALLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TC,
We're planning on getting there on Wednesday, attempting to meet everybody at the Dillard House for lunch.  Since we're leaving either Friday pm or Saturday am, it will depend on how the pre-MV ride goes!!  The meter is the expensive piece, the cables and adapters are about another $15 or so.  The adapter/end that converts the coax to a female antenna end is buried in some small parts drawers in Radio Shack.  Don't let them tell you they don't have it.  They just don't know where it is.  It's no wonder RS is closing half it's stores.
