Bye the end of q3/2012 switzerland had
about  8 014 000 inhabitants and 679 000
bikes and scooters licensed. talking about
real bikes, the number is 407 513.

New licensed bikes in 2012:

Germany 178000, 1 bike per 460 persons
Italy 258 000, 1 bike per 236 persons
Spain 115 000, 1 bike per 408
France 269 000,  1 bike per 220
Great Britian 93 000,  1 bike per 667
Switzerland, 47 000,  1 bike per 170
