Looked like the close enough board to post in but feel free to move if needed.
A year ago yesterday I took delivery of my SERGU. I can honestly say that from the first time I saw one of these in 2011 on a showroom floor I told myself that IF I was ever able to upgrade to one of these it would be a while. Little did I know the bike Gods were smiling on me last year. Picked this baby up with only 1159 miles on the clock, D&D pipes and SERT already done and just begging to go to a good home. Price at the metric dealer? $30k even. Was about $2k more that I would have invested in an upgraded '12 RGU so it was a no brainer (that and all the forced overtime made the decision that much easier). Rode it home in snow flurries that night after work.

Now it seems that these bikes are still bringing in the used market what I paid for it a year ago, Makes me even feel better about the deal I fell into.
So far in the last year I've managed a little over 11k miles on it bringing the total up to about 12,500 on the clock. What a dream this bike is. Sad thing, I've never done anything to it to make it an even better bike. Still stock on the bars and suspension that so many people like to upgrade. One of these days I'll get the chance to ride one that has had some work done on it and I'm sure it'll be game on then.

Issues? Nothing that Freedom HD in Canton, OH wouldn't take care of real quick. Adjusted the fall away, replaced the seat when I took it in for a 10k service and pointed out the seam splitting. Great guys there.

Finding the right shield proved to be a challenge as most of us Shark owners are aware of. Got that figured out.
I've added a few lights to it, the chrome script from Custom Billet Works and shift linkage from Puzzled for a few personal touches. Nothing major though.
We (my wife and I, also know as My Better Half) have met a few members from on here also and can't wait for MV this fall to meet a bunch more from this great site in person

Need to toss out a great big THANK YOU to all the fine folks from this site and the big man himself (Neal) for creating the site in which has cost me a few hours of my life (not to mention a few dollars) for all the help and suggestions along with info I've learned from reading so much.
Here's looking for another great year with this awesome machine and miles of smiles.
