Help! Cannot start 2010 CVO FLSTSE
« on: April 13, 2013, 08:22:30 PM »

Okay, I was cleaning my bike and disconnected the battery which is new. Reconnected when I finished cleaning and now the bike will not start. All the lights work, but when I hit the starter nothing happens. The turn signal lights keep flashing quickly. I think it may be something with my security system. I have no idea where the manual is, so anyone know how to help?

I know when you disconnect the battery you're supposed to have the key fob in pocket and ignition on.  Do the opposite when you re-connect. It is your alarm.  It has disabled the system.  Try to do it again correctly.  Let us know how you make out.

Make a note to yourself to learn how to use the personal security code to turn off the security system manually, just in case the fob dies when you're far from home.  Another good idea is to carry a spare fob battery on the bike.
