I put one on my 110 after getting stuck in traffic and overheating. According to the HD dipstick temperature gauge. I averaged 265 in spring and fall and in 90F+ weather all it did was flash 8's. Not sure what the max temp it would read but I exceeded it. After installing the oil bud I run 225 when it's in the 80's and 240 in the high 90's. Haven't made it to the fall yet to see what the temps are going to be, but I am happy with mine.

Hey I know the oil bud mounts under the frame right?  Did you put one on in addition to the oil cooler mounted under the front down tubes?

I too have the Oil Bud cooler on my '07 110 and have had great results. Before that I would see 300 deg on a hot day and in slow traffic now the highest I've seen is 280.  My friend has a 2010 limited with the 103 and HD cooler and on a 101 deg day we were riding and his bike was 287 while mine was 265. You can not add the Oil Bud in addition to the Hd cooler because the Oil Bud extends to the area where the stock HD unit is. The only down side to the Oil Bud is draining the oil is a little more difficult because it is right next to the drain plug and may catch some of the oil as it drains, but if you do not remove the oil filler/dipstick it works fine.

I have one of these on my 3.0 CRD Jeep...works great....there is a  90* nipple available for it.....if it's 'hidden' and protected by a cooler it might work ok??

dayne66 ,
I do not think it will work because there is barely enough room for the drain plug itself.

Does anyone on here have any knowledge or experience with the "Oil Bud Oil Cooler". I watched the videos and read the testimonials, it sounds like a good product, works as stated, and very durable. What say you?
