I have a 2010 FLHXSE with a stock radio/CD player. While playing a cd it skips very badly like the cd has a lot of scratches. Put the same cd in my truck and play's fine. Has anyone got a clue as to what my problem is or what I should try to fix? These are usually copied cd's from itunes if that matters.

If the CD was copied at the "wrong" format speed 4x, 8x - or whatever they use to denote Cd drives, the HK it won't play right I'm thinking it has to be done at 4X but I'm not positive. I know I had that problem with my '06 ultra and when I changed the format of the CD it worked fine.

There is a bulletin out on replacing the handlebar clamp bolts with ones with a shorter head since they contact the radio sometimes. You did not say if the CD skipped while riding or standing still, but it may be worth a shot. A copy is attached.
