Dambusters 70th Anniversary flight over Derwent dam

This clip shows the 70th Anniversary commemorative flight of the Dambusters, Spitfire, Lancaster bomber and 2 Tornadoes from the present squadron.

The Lancaster had a Canadian crew for the flight in memory of Guy Gibson.

I was there it was awesome and moving.

Brave men indeed.

What an awesome tribute! I can only imagine what witnessing it in person must have been like.

The way those brave fliers used the bouncing bombs to breach German dams in WWII was absolutely brilliant!
