Rinehart 3.5 too loud

HI THERE

I have the 3.5inch Rinehart slip on mufflers and find them too loud and popping on deceleration. (2007 Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic with stock head pipes 1 3/4" dia).

I would like to tone these (DCB) pipes down...has anyone tried exhaust wrap with any success? Anything else I can do, short of trying new slip ons?
