May want to do a search on a product called "Motorcycle Armor" to see if they offer their product for lowers... they are also a vendor on this site so if they do make sure you check out the Vendor Discount board so you may take advantage of the discount offered to members.

3m makes a spray on clear chip protector that could work on all the curves of the lowers. I've used it to protect my saddlebag lids on trips seems ok takes some practice to get it on clear but it does the job.

Don't know if motorcycle armor or the 3M spray on protectorant will work very well when a rock / pebble hits at speed.  I have a pretty heavy bra on my Bushtec trailer and rocks have penetrated it and caused small pecks in the paint under the bra.  Of course the front of the trailer is closer to the rear tire of my bike than our bikes would be to other traffic (hope so anyway!).  But it just goes to show the power of this debris when it is thrown up.  Amazing that painted areas hold up as well as they do imo.
