PV Tune for Breakout
« on: July 11, 2013, 03:33:49 PM »

Has anyone have a good PV tune for the breakout with V&H BR 2-2 exhaust, they are willing to share?  I ran the autotune basic through about 4 iterations and it was running pretty well.  I then got a tune e-mailed to me from PowerVision and I flashed the PV tune and the bike ran horrible.  Anyway, I re-flashed with the previous tune I was running.  I feel like the one I'm running is pretty good but I still get some popping on deceleration....which makes me think there's room for improvement.

Thanks

Post ur tune.   Popping on long decell can be fixed with closed throttle spark or main timing table, if it is just a quick pop when letting off then that's decell enleanment.

Call FuelMoto at www.fuelmoto.com.

Jamie has been very good about helping.

I'll give the man a call.  Problem is I didn't buy the unit from FuelMoto.  Never hurts to try though.

Jake,

I bought my PV2 from FuelMoto and they didn't have a tune for our bike but they did put a tune for a 2010 110ci engine on it for me. When I used that tune, the bike would generate an error code. I started with the OEM tune and let it adjust in from there with no problems. I spent the extra cash and got the autotune pro setup so I could use the wideband sensors. After reading all of their materials and my intent to add more power down the road, it made sense. If you'd like, I can send you the tune file that I'm running to use as a base. I'm running the Bassani pipes but and you'd be closer with it than using the OEM. If you'd like it, send me an email address in a PM.
