Has anyone had to replace the internal security siren battery? Is is necessary to get the kit from HD that includes a new seal or can the old one be salvaged if removed carefully?
I have an 07 Springer and after a recent cranking battery replacement, the security started chirping 3 times after I turn the ignition off. I went through the steps to try and get it back to chirpless mode but it didn't work. I read on another post that the internal siren battery needs to be replaced when there's 3 chirps instead of just 2 chirps. Thanks in advance for any help!
