Simonizing
« on: June 27, 2013, 07:17:21 AM »

Has anybody had Harley or anybody else apply the simonizing treatment to their bike.  I did not do it because it cost so much, but didn't know if it works very well.

They are saying that it is nano technology and charge over $600.
They say I lasts a long time and everything is easy to clean and you just rinse off.

Who is Simon?

A pack ride cannot be conducted without a leader and we certainly had one with the man we call Big Sexy – Simon!

It would be nice to know if someone has had it done because Harley is selling it at the dealerships.

From someone who sells this crap to car customers.....don't waist your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I only sell it IF they ask for it and then try to sell them other stuff and discredit the product.  I have a case of it in the garage if you want a few bottles!!

I used it on my boat just because.

For a motorcyle that is not left out in the elements it's def not worth it.

I don't know but I guess there is one born every minute.  I guess that if you charge enough for something that those with the $$$ will believe they are getting something noboby else can have.  $10+ change for a 7 oz. can on the internet.  Like I said,  it's wax.

Have family member that owns a couple GM dealerships. The "Paint Sealant" Package is the largest price point (Read Total Profit) that he has. The cost is nominal, the employee labor costs more than the "Simoniz" product and that guy is a min wage dude. He will sell you a car at $100 over invoice then make and additional $575 off your lack of a brain on the wax. I promise this is true. I promise if you try to back-up on the deal he will "throw-in" the Paint sealant for free. Does it every day.
