Lets look at the kit from a negative standpoint.  :huepfenjump3:

Kit cost                                                                                                   +$ 1295.00
The stock heads don't flow well enough to take advantage of a higher lift cam.  +$ to send out for porting fix
The stock throttle body is really too small.                                                    +$ for 58mm
The 10.5 pistons probably will not be an ideal fit in your old cylinders.               +$ for hone or rebore to fit oversize
If you already have a tuner you don't need another.
Labour costs for all of the above.                                                                +$ 15 hours labour ?
Dyno tune                                                                                               +$

Questions to ask yourself:
Have we exceeded the reliability of the bottom end of the 110 ?
Should I have simply bought a SE 120R crate engine and put my fully warrantied 110 engine on a shelf just incase ?

I'm trying to compensate for my age with immaturity. :coolblue:

I wonder if this poll was taken in a female only population if the results would differ? I bet they would be significantly different. Men are not women. ::)
If I was a woman, I would have enough money to buy 5 scooters if I wanted too!!!!!!!!

Well there's a fact I had not thought of. :'(

Hornhonker I hear ya but there were few options with the 110 motor that I knew of especially at the time. I did have the head worked and the stock throttle seems ok to me. would be nice to have enough money to build it with and without a body change with dyno comparisons.

The dealer took the tuner and the price of it out of the package.
I can not prove or disprove the pistons the fit of the cylinder well but the bike runs well and produces good power.

I would love to have had the 120R but can't stand the waste of money letting the 110 sit there. I already have to many Harley stock parts in the closet. :D The color is wrong and the cost to do the motor change was considerable.

Bottom line is I may have to satisfied with what I have for a while. :)

Hard to find a lot of talk about the stage III upgrade kit for the 110.
To arrow my bike goes to the builder for the following. Kit plus the following, heavier bearings. New roller rockers, race springs.
Bassani true dual w/ power curve. Megaphone exhaust. 58mm se TB. With a Roland sands clarity breather machined to fit the 58 mm TB.
Finally it will sound and feel like a harley. I am so excited yet nervousness. So many choices very hard to choose what to do with motor. The big reason is warranty. Many people have motor work done at my local harley shop. Never has their been a problem with warranty. Hope I'm not the first. With so little about the kit I hope it was a good choice.

Fuel Moto recently posted a dyno chart for a 113" kit they are currently testing and almost ready to launch. Not sure of the cost  :nixweiss: The bike cranked out 134hp/131TQ  ;D

I could always use more power and lots of it.  I just can't afford to play the game anymore, so I settle for mild mods.

Believe it or not but I kind of like the 255 cam. It runs out of juice pretty quick on rpm but for me it's a good riding cam. I think it makes me ride a little safer.

That being said, as soon as I have some extra cash cams, etc are on my wish list. Why? Because more is better!

I would like around 100-110 hp and 120-125 tq. Currently 89/108. But a build is more on my mind to eliminate the clattering engine noise that question the engines longevity.

Willy this is exactly what I would love to do some day. I usually just crank the stereo up but sometimes I like to ride with nothing but the wind in my face, radio off, etc. It doesn't last long though because between 2600 and 3000 rpm's it sounds like my top end is going to end up in my lap! I just switched from SYN3 to Mobil 1 and it made it a tad less noticeable but still annoying!

...  In order to really make the SE259E work well, I had to bump the compression.  So again, options, warranty considerations, and parts that work together narrowed my choice down to the SE Stage III kit.  All of the new parts covered by extended warranty, the rest of the bike covered by both initial and extended warranty. ...

If you really want to make your engine sing with the SE259Es, put on a Drago's Dragula or S-C-S/4 2-into-1 pipe. Those cams and the Drago's pipe are made for each other! More difficult to get the VEs dialed in, but man, does that combo perform.

You have already bumped your CR, which is needed with the SE259Es. I simply installed Cometic MLS .030" head gaskets to get a CR bump... but at some point I will install higher-comp pistons to get the CR over 10-1, which the cams will really like!
