fuel filter tool

anybody have any suggestions for the tool to take the lock ring off the fuel tank to change the fuel filter on my 2011, do not want to damage tank.  Thanks

If you're really careful and lay down a towel, you can use a screwdriver and a rubber mallet.  I have a short piece of wooden dowel I use.

Blunt edge tool and a mallet as described above; or buy the tool.  About half way down the page at George's.

How about a lock ring tool? 

Lang makes one for $35-40 bucks.  Basically pays for itself the first time you use it.

going to Gatliburg next week I can bring the tool for that along, if you live near Gatlinburg?

I see Decatur is two hours from Gatlinburg maybe Monday I could see that part of the state? email me with your cellphone number to let me know. Will be leaving tomorrow( Friday).

Thanks for offering you are right on the 2 hours from the tourist trap called Gatlinburg, Some one help me out with how I find this lang tool to remove the ring.  Thanks

Snap On makes one for like $25.  Got one off of a truck last year.
