Breakout Rear tyre mileage

Just wondering how much mileage you guys are getting before the rear tyre wears out. Just replaced mine at 7,000 miles with another Dunlop cost me £200 over here fitted.

I have a Roadglide that I can only get about 6000 out of. All depends how you ride. Answers will be all over the place...

  Got 9800 miles on my Breakout, looks like I got 1000 more before I gotta replace it.  Metzeler makes a 240 and a 250.  Is there any advantage to using a 250 instead?

I only have 4500 on mine, and the wear bars are starting to show....Not good.

I've got a little over 3K on mine and is getting pretty damn close to the wear marks already.

Just ordered Dunlop Elite3 240/40 VR18 rear tire from Dennis Kirk. $100 cheaper than buying from HD. Stay with the Dunlop because front tire is still good, and didn't want to mix tires.
