FLHTCSE2 Clutch
« on: August 19, 2013, 10:02:42 AM »

Morning!
I have moderate to severe tendinitis in my left hand, elbow and shoulder. No doubt made worse by my years of riding. Recently, I have found it to be very difficult to work the clutch on my 05 FLHTCSE2 and keep it in the friction zone for very slow riding. I know the clutch is hydraulic, but is there anything that I can do to make it easier to engage and hold on to? It is original and with no modifications. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I feel your pain (in the clutch hand literally), but don't know of any methods of lessening the clutch pull.  The hyradulic clutch is soooo much easier than previous clutches, that I just grin and bear it.  spyder

Check out this part:

http://clutchwiz.com/

Haven't personally used but have read very satisfied reports from others.  The part does work on bikes with hydraulic clutch.

Clutch Wiz works great with SE clutch spring.

I can tell you that I use the clutch wiz on my 2012 CVOSG and it made a HUGE difference with the clutch pull.  :2vrolijk_21:

Is there a 'down-side'?

The maker wants you to put in a heavier clutch spring or the clutch can slip on some applications.

I did install the heavier spring and it wasn't that costly.
