Does it come w/a GPS?? I can't find any documentation regarding it coming w/one. :nixweiss: More than likely since it doesn't have the new "infotainment" center if it did come w/one it would be a variation of the Garmin (for H-D) and you can get yearly or lifetime updates directly from Garmin or you can search the net and find them cheaper.  Once you confirm they do come w/a GPS and what model it is then it might be easier to supply cheaper alternatives than Garmin.

When you register your garmin on the web you will be asked to install new software if available and update maps.  Let us know if it is
the 660 or 665.

I just unplug my 660, bring it in the house (lots warmer in the winter) and plug it into my laptop...Garmin does the rest.

On the HD website section showcasing the new models you can see the GPS by using the 360 view of the Deluxe CVO.  Can't tell if it is a 660 or 665 but it is definitely mounted over the speedo.  No mention of it in the specs or features.

When you get the bike, just bring the GPS inside and use the supplied USB cord to connect to your PC.  Go to the Garmin USA website and set up a "My Garmin" account, register the serial number of the GPS, and the site will let you know if there are any updates available for your unit.  If so, just let it do it's thing...it takes a while to do the updates, depending on your connection speed to the internet.

I did my 660 last sunday, took 59 minutes / start to finish. You don't have to connect the GPS to see if update is available. The Garmin Express Icon on your desk-top can check anytime, just click and it will advise if any or many updates are available since your last update. Pretty slick, even tells you that you can "walk away now" and then it will finish the update by itself.

As Silly as it sounds, how many of us have sat there and watched the silly progress bar moving left to right waiting for the latest update to load!!!  Nice to know that I can now "Walk Away", hummmm next time maybe they should say "go grab a brew, I got this!!"

Airplanes is the same. Takes a long time to update all my Cirrus / Avidyne / nav / approach / terrain every two weeks.

$2,409 a year makes the stuff for the HD look cheap
