Got time to open cam chest today and it was ugly, don't know how it ever was quiet. It is over my head now. Can anyone suggest a good indie shop in south Mississippi or New Orleans area? Guess I can start with the cam questions now as well :bigcry:

Get a hold of Mike Cat's Cycle Works over in Kenner, Louisiana. :2vrolijk_21:

The S&S kit is a very nice way to go have one just ready to fire now and another that we are just starting. When you have a major failure its a bad deal. However not too hard to come full circle and have a very nice mild manner 124 that will run great pull hard any where in the RPM range and just be plain fun :2vrolijk_21:

I feel you are going to be very happy with a 124. No reason to have the "over the top" engine .. ITs not very everyone and most are very happy with the 135 + tq that is easy to obtain and its not a picky engine. Pump gas and go with all fuel and all heat. Nothing wrong with a BDE ( big dumb engine)  ;D
