Install a good set of after market lifters and the issue will go away. The dealer will tell you that hyd lifter bleed down is normal. We know that is not true however your dealings and issue you are having with your new bike is a common one.

Yes without a doubt they will reduce the engine noise and fix start up rattle if you have that issue as well.
The 255 cam is rather aggressive if you plot it out, add that to X amount of crank runout and at what given degree of crank rotation you may be increasing the jerk rate on the cam as well, then add in the rather heavy valve spring pressure= loud " valve train"
Simple deal as you are aware Don swap the springs swap the lifters and if you like the 255 leave it alone.. OR maybe degree the cam in some retard it 3 degrees would work well..
would at least allow the cam to pull out a bit further.
