Kuryakyn TC-24D Cams
« on: October 10, 2013, 09:53:27 PM »

I've been waiting to see more comments and dyno sheets as more members install these cams but there doesn't seem to be any new info. Has anyone other than Bowtech installed this cam?

Did all bore 113 from suburban hd, wfo larry heads, kury 57mm tb, supertrap. Cut dome down on pistons to get 10.1 to 1, @190 ccp. Kury 24d cam, runs great pulls everywhere, 40 plus mpg. Great tune from bob at razorback in wisc.
If i were to do it again i would leave the pistons as is and pic up a few extra hp an tq. This has zero pinging in any riding conditon, Im very happy

Chicoman, Thanks for posting your Dyno sheet. I think this is the cam for me but after the initial hubbub there was no new info coming down the line. Your numbers are great! How are you finding the heat issue / running so hot, with your bike after the mods? Schok

I am getting ready to do almost the same build on my 2012. I am going to break the cases and plug and weld the flywheels. I am sending the heads north and I am going to run the 4.060 HD pistons with a 58 mm HD TB. Also going with a fueling cam plate, oil pump and lifters. Not looking to build a speedster just looking to make it bullet proof and a little more in the TQ range.

No heat issue at all, the tune takes care of that. Hottest the oil temp has been in 90+ riding has been 220. Great all around touring having fun motor. Get a pipe without the cat in to get rid of the heat on your leg.
