2014 CVO Limited ECM HELP
« on: February 16, 2014, 10:54:39 PM »

I'm new to posting on this forum, so please forgive me if this appears to be "stupid" post...

I recently purchased a 2014 CVO Ultra Limited (love it). This weekend I put on V&H Dresser Duals w/ V&H Twin Slash Rounds (sounds awesome). I also purchased a Power Vision Tuner. I bought the wrong tuner (should have purchased the PV2 vs. PV1) but will get the correct one this week. Regardless, I am having trouble locating the ECM to plug the tuner into. Based on the Power Vision website, I thought the ECM would be on the Left Hand side of the bike near the Accessory plug. I found another plug, however, it's pin layout is not 3 on top & 3 on bottom. It's a 4/2 configuration (picture attached). Is this the ECM plug or should I be looking elsewhere for a 3/3 configured plug? If so, where do I look?

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if it will help, but on my 2010, the ECM was a gray plug, which is marked "ECM" in the attached pic.  It was located under the left side cover.  It has holes for four pins, but there are only three (see next pic). Hope this helps.

Pic of ECM pins (sorry, somehow the pic in previous post was upside down).

The pictures above are correct for a 2010 and later Touring bike. The only difference for 2014 is that plug is now a 6 pin instead of the 4 pin used until 2013.
