I know the new system is quite elaborate, lots of goodies.  Lots of blue tooth capabilities, etc.  I know you can blue tooth you phone to the new system..But my question is: how can you hear the call and how can you speak to your caller? Where is the mic, etc? Is there a blue tooth headset that connects to the new system? How is it done?

You can not use a Bluetooth helmet it has to be the wired helmet. After the phone is blue toothed to the system and a call comes in you will hear it ring and it will show up on the display. You then have the option of answering or ignoring the call. Of course the microphone is the microphone on the wired helmet.

Thanks, it's a shame that they did not design the headset to work with Bluetooth..Does the bike come with a plug where you can plug in the wired headset? and did HD provide the wired headset with the bike??  Thank you, Stan

The plug is right below the fuel door. The bike should have come with a HD headset, but it's a POS compared to the J&M or other aftermarket units, but at least you can use it to try and see if you like wearing a headset.
