Just put on a set of Ohlins from Howard at Motorcycle Metal. He called them a 2 1/2, a hybrid of the 2 and 3, with externally adjustable Compression & Rebound.  I only have about 150 miles on them, but thus far, I think this may be the best $$ I have ever spent.  Bought the bike used with about 8K on it, with Legends Air ride. I never really got used to the Legends, did not like the ride, and  with a 33" inseam  don't need the bike lowered. The ride quality of  the Ohlins is outstanding thus far.

Congrats, they are great shocks.  I use them on my RG and will use their cartridges up front, it's my winter project.

Had Ohlins on the Limited, running JRIs on the CVO.  Howard is a wealth of information and sells fantastic shocks.

I have been running the Ohlin 6's for around 15000 miles that I got from Howard and they have been great. If you ride hard they are worth the investment for sure
