Info needed for Harley's on a cruise ship (Royal Caribbean)
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:46:51 PM »

Has anyone taken their bike on a Royal Caribbean Cruise? We are going on the Iron Cross Torch run in January 2014 and wondered what anyone else's experience may have been. It seems to be very organized, only 35 motorcycles allowed. Guided rides in St. Maartan, St. Kitts, and San Juan, PR. We supply the wheel chock, however, not sure how it will be secured. Every time I try to load my bike into it on a wood floor, it slides. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your time!

Doing this the end of March with Celebrity cruise lines out of Ft Lauderdale.  My understanding they supply the chocks and tie downs.  Wife and I are riding our bikes down with several other bikes for this.

Great! With Royal Caribbean we supply our own chocks. Going with a bunch of Blue Knights, raising money for the Special Olympics of Georgia. Should be a chance of a lifetime with escorted rides and everything. Can't wait!

Jimmy, we did the Hogs on the High Seas cruise rally a few years ago, it is now just called "High Seas Rally". Ship filled with about 2,000 bikers, they did everything except bring and ride there bikes, "I have the X-Rated pics to prove it" Leathers and biker T'shirts were the required attire. Loads of fun. Proceeds go to kidney dialysis funds.
Totally different cruise than what S.E.Chic is talking about.

Yea, Arland. Been a good while back. I didn't remember any talk about rides, just what a great time they had.
