Corrected Compression and Cold Cranking Compression Question
« on: December 30, 2013, 08:07:36 PM »

Trying to figure out my calculations and I was wondering if a corrected compression of 9:44/1 and a Cold Cranking Compression of 192.6 are OK in my 110" with compression releases. Also, the majority of the time I can only find 91 Octane.
Thanks

I agree the numbers are in line. But I would add that a engine that is untuned will not run correctly and even with correct numbers for given fuel octane will not help you. Smaller cams with short duration tend to be more picky than larger cams with a increase in overlap for ign ping.

Maybe some specs on the build ?

Thanks, do you think this will be a hard tune? I am concerned as there are limited tuners in my vicinity.

Nothing exotic about the build, and the tune should be straightforward.
