This is just me but I would get the repairs & WHY they had to be performed in writing!  I hope you have seen the last of any issues but just in case some pop up in the future it would be nice to your documentation on hand.   Enjoy your new ride.

Sorry for your initial troubles with your new baby.  That is beyond frustration to pay all those pounds and then have it damaged and not run right.  We'll all say that hopefully this is the bottom of the barrel, and there's nowhere to go but up.

They have signed the delivery paper work to state, damaged during delivery and faulty switch.
