1" on the front of the 2000 but the 2000 is 3/4" in the rear. Going to 1" bearings in the rear necessitates axle and swingarm swap and one of the various aftermarket bushing kits to use the new swingarm on the older bike. Don't get me wrong, using the newer swingarm is beneficial. It's just a lot more parts to get for a wheel swap.
Original poster; don't let the scare you though if a wheel swap is still on your agenda. If you find a newer wheel you like that is setup for 1" bearings and spacers you can still stay with your original parts. The outside diameter of each size bearings are the same. So you can directly install the 3/4" bearings in place of 1" bearings. The ID of the 1" axle spacer will just accept the OD of the 3/4" spacer. So you can slide one inside the other and keep right on rolling with your 3/4" original axle and original swingarm.
A (relatively speaking compared to many wheels) cheaper option perhaps worth considering is the Street Glide wheel. They can often be found in a chromed set on eBay for a surprisingly reasonable fee. The chromed version looks great compared to the black and aluminum original finish. And they look good on a 2000 Road Glide
