Infotainment USB cable
« on: February 18, 2014, 12:13:37 PM »

Will you let me know how your USB connection comes out of the door on the dash, that is how much of it comes out, how long is it, on my bike it is only at the door, very hard to hook anything to it. I have an 18 inch USB extension but would rather not use it. I have a feeling maybe it is stuck in the front faring or snagged on something?
let me know.

Mine is the same, hard to plug things in, I am concerned about dropping phone, i-pod, etc... on to the fuel tank while trying to manipulate the connector.

You can buy a short cable like this 4" one from monoprice to give it just enough length without having to cram a long cable in there:
