I installed the Fullsac Stage i with 2" cores back in August and was really happy with the sound, etc.  I'm now wondering how much different the bike would sound with the 2.25" cores.  Anyone else change up from 2" to 2.25"????

I haven't changed from the 2.0" CVO baffles to the 2.2" CVO baffles.

But I have had the 2.25" Fullsac baffles from day one and will keep them on for ever!

Not much help but when I first got my scoot in 2009, I had V&H DD's and Rineharts Racing slip ons. The 2.25" CVO baffles are sound perfect FOR ME!

I went from the 2" to 2.25" on my SESG 2.     The differences I noticed:
- Now sounds a bit deeper - more bass
- Sound level is minimally louder but not an issue on long trips
- Motor was upgraded with the change of baffles so I can not give you a comparison opinion on performance.  Not apples to apples.

Steve @ Fullsac believes the 2" perform a bit better on the low end.  I'm extremely happy with my set up.
