Big difference between a lift and a jack.  I got a Pit-Bull jack at Bike Week up here, discount & no shipping.  My Handy lift was purchased from a shop that was closing.  Now I just need a tire machine.  Many like the Sears jack for the price. I found that it did not fit well and did not get my bike high enough to do some of the work I need to do safely.  Before I got the Handy lift I would use the jack to get it high enough to lower on modified milk crates so I had access to the 3 drain plugs plus it made for a wide open area in specific locations.  I wish my Pit Bull had the ability to turn the bike around due to limited space.  I know options are available but are costly so I just make what I have work.  Lots of info if you do a search.

I just got a J&S and am really happy with it. It's solid and the bike moves easily. It also has a smaller footprint than some of the others which makes turning the bike around easier in smaller spaces (if that's a concern). Can't go wrong with a J&S or Pitbull.

Bought a J&S a couple of years ago and not one problem with it.  Used it with a 2000 Ultra Classic, 2013 Dyna Switchback & a 2010 softail CVO Convertible. Wouldn't trade it for anything other than a table... :2vrolijk_21:
