Someone over on Roadglide.org put a set of LED drop ins in his. Hates them. Wished he would have spent the money on the Daymakers. You can get them for 20% off with free shipping through Jon at Hornytoad bringing the price below $600 if you really want LEDs that work.

Nice find. Would like to see how those mount in there. I've never messed with my lights enough to see how possible it is. I'm sure the stock bezel would need modded to hold the extra weight.

I agree with OBB here concerning the Daymakers.  I've posted these pics before but worth posting again.  First one is bone stock on Skunk Ryder's bike.  Couldn't see nuttin with these headlights.

And here with the new Daymaker's installed along with the Custom Dynamics halo turn signal rings.  Literally night and day difference.  Much safer riding at night now and well worth the money.

As for the drop in replacement LED bulbs, I looked into them a bit before I put a Phase 7 on Ginger.  Glad I did but the idea of the drop in LED's still interest me.  Still researching but nobody currently makes an LED bulb that are recommended for motorcycle use....time will change that I'm sure.... :2vrolijk_21:

Here's the Daymakers. You can see how the lights are mounted. There's also a reinforcement bracket behind that bezel because the lights are so much heavier.

The bracket is actually part of the bezel. It is not a separate bracket that tries to connect to any other part of the bike.

Haven't noticed any heat issues and no problems at all so far...I had to adjust the headlights up a little after install.
