We do ride about 15,000 miles a year, my question was the Electra glide before this road glide did not put black dust on my wife I still like my road glide better just trying to figure out the dust difference. Thanks

I use ceramic pads. More expensive, but worth it due to less dust and wheel cleaning.

A Swiffer duster might be cheaper than new brake pads.  :nixweiss:

IMHO - Considering all the rubber tire dust on the road and the aerodynamics of the bike one should expect to see a certain amount of dust on the bike as well as the passenger/rider.
