So far, I'm not aware of lifter issues with the current SE lifters that come in the current bikes.  That said, more time will tell...

Like you I've been keenly aware of the lifter discussion on here and have spoken with members about changing them out. I  did ask at the local HD shop and my buddy there said they haven't had a 13 with failed lifters come through yet, we looked in the parts catalog on his computer and the 13 lifters are a different model than earlier versions, maybe they'll last longer, time will tell as will members who own failed 13 model lifters.  :nixweiss:

I have a '13 CVO Ultra and I've experienced (at times) a light tapping sound under moderate acceleration somewhere near 2800 RPM's.
Also, last summer, I had a strange noise that seemed to be either a tappet or a lifter when climbing a mountain road and the noise continued until we got to our motel in Robbinsville, NC.
The following morning, the noise was gone and it never made the sound again.
I'm more concerned with the tapping noise and I think it's a bad lifter but I guess they won't replace it until it fails.

I have a little over 12,000 on my FLHTCUSE8 and have had no issues yet.  I am just as curious as you are in regards to whether they were upgraded or not.
