I have an electronic version of the 2013 Touring SM....wondering if the differences to my FLHXSE3 are significant enough to need to buy a new manual.  If anyone has the old 2012 version, want to trade?

You will prob be fine for 85% of the things you do. I always get all 3 manuals, Service Man, SE supplement & parts manual, it's only a 1 time spend. Some feel the parts manual is unnecessary, its the book I use most often. Gives detailed info on every nut & bolt; pitch, length, etc. HD's markup on chrome fasteners is usually 1000% or more!

Agree on the parts manual.  Its exploded view of assemblies is much more informative than the photos and diagrams in the service manual.  Plus if needing to order parts from one of the discount dealers I know exactly what I need.  Always ask them to verify before placing the order.

I also recommend that you buy the Supplement and the Parts Catalog for your FLHXSE3. Our SESGs have a number of unique parts on them, and the supplement and parts catalog discuss these.

BTW, the wiring harness on the FLHXSE3 is unique to our bikes. The Supplement is the ONLY place where the correct wiring diagrams for our bike exist.
