It's the little things...
« on: May 07, 2014, 09:59:39 AM »

....that can put a smile on one's face.  For me, I really am happyy that they changed the attachment points for the batwing fairing on my 2014 Limited...moving those two @#$$%%^^&&*  screws from between the forks makes removal and re-installation so much easier!!!

no more using tape.
no more using magnets
no more installing studs
no more fasteners lost to the garage monster

What's a fairing?  Glad you found some items on the 2014's that are an improvement.  You are absolutely right on the small items that sometimes surprise us.  Having a SERK the same color as your 08 I finally put on a used pair of gloss black hard bags, really love the difference between the small cheap looking stock bags.  Is Phil B going to Laconia with you guys?

Wouldn't you like to meet the guy that designed the pre 2014 fairings?  Thank goodness for magnets when trying to put in those two screws by the forks.

Install studs into the fairing, then fasten with nuts...   :2vrolijk_21:
