This is just to inform potential owners/buyers of the TTS.  I was just informed by MasterTune that if your ECM is replaced and you do not have the old ECM you cannot get the unit married to your new ECM for free.

Also I was told you must send in your new and old ECM along with the TTS, which the remarriage woudl take 10 business days.

This is only for information purposes and I am not saying right wrong or indiferent to their policy.

2 # That's why I have TTS unit sitting on the rack due the monkeys at the dealer changed the ECM under warranty without any notify, and refused to hand over the old ECM back.

That surprises me.

My ECM was replaced last year.  All it took was an email of the H-D work order to Dynojet, and they sent me the unlock code.  Took about 90 minutes.

Yes my DynoJet is back online with no issues and it was free to boot.

still aok on the bike?  i know you went through hell for a while there.

sorry for the hijack.......

to get back on track.  the licensing with the tts is a lot like any other mod to your bike.  if you bought a fuel tank and customized it to your liking and then had some sort of problem and hd replaced it, it would be on you to customize it again.  unfortunate, but it happens.  if you were to have an accident and insurance was totaling out your bike, most folks would probably forget because, unlike chrome, you don't really 'see' it, but you should toss in the cost of the tts when calculating the value.

So yes and no on the bike.  Seems to be running good now, but I am constantly checking the codes and this evening I got P1001 and P1003 again. 

The TTS thing, well I am just informing folks cause I was a bit surprised at the different approach by the two tuner companies.
