A Marine Corps legend.  He even has a trophy named after him (The Walsh Trophy); awarded to the annual Marine Corps Pistol Champion.  He also would personally make a flintlock pistol and award it to the winner.  He gave me mine in '95.  SEMPER FI Colonel; your legend lives on….
