In early Feb I had S&S premium lifters installed in my '07. After riding about 100 miles after the installation I experienced an idle problem. Don't think or see how it could be related to the lifter install and think it is just coincidental but this was the first time it happened.
Stopped for a photo and upon restart the engine immediately died. Did so two more times. The third time it ran but idle was high - about 1500-1800 rpm. Rode on for 15-20 miles and engine ran fine - good power, no misfire, nothing out of the ordinary. But the high idle persisted every time I came to a stop. When I stopped for fuel for whatever reason I decided to pull the maxi fuse and that cured the high idle.
Now about 800 miles later it happened again yesterday. Same scenario and pulling the maxi fuse did correct it.
Can't understand what may be causing this or why pulling the maxi fuse and 'resetting' everything??? would correct this. Any ideas?

ADDED: Forgot to state - no DTCs (of course). Wondering if a 'flaky' sensor could be sending wrong info to ECM creating this issue. If so I would think this would generate a DTC, or not?
