Could someone that has a 2014 CVO RK tell me if their bike has two or four threaded holes for the passenger peg/footboard mounts?

If I find out that my dealer drilled and tapped new holes in my frame to mount the Harley nonadjustable footboard mounts, because they didn't fit properly, I am going to go ballistic on my dealer.

While standing on the left side of the bike, you can shine a light through the engine compartment and see the backside of mount for the right peg.  Mine has four holes with only two in use.

I know the 13 had four holes, but there are supposed to be black hole plugs in the non-used holes. At least I had the black plastic plugs on my bikes. Those plugs attempt to keep junk from filling and contributing to the rust in the threads.




Someone else will have to chime in here on the 14 model.

Just went and looked. Mine has 4, no plastic plugs, threads are rusted.

i believe both holes are threaded but they are for different length bolts one i slonger and has no thread at the neck and the other is threaded from top to bottom . hope that helps

Mine has 4 holes, no caps, I put grease in to keep the threads from rusting, not ideal though

Forgetaboutum. Run a bottom tap thru with a little oil if you ever need to use the threads.

YES THEIR ARE FOUR HOLES .AND YOU ARE MISSING THE PLUGS I PUT CHROME ONES IN
