Same on my street glide. I notice it when I pull into the garage or the light hits a road sign just right. It is irritating as is the lack of light when turning a corner. I tolerate it because I don't ride at night much.
I'm thinking about returning to the stock set up.

You may not have the top green tab snapped all the way in.  It is hard to get all the way in and can pop out.

I agree it is difficult to get that last green tab in all the way and secured.

Also noticed the outer bezel cover does not as well as original.

You shouldn't need to remove the fairing to push the green tabs in. Just remove the outer bezel for access. Then you can push the green tabs in and make sure they are tight.

I've installed 5 sets of these lights for friends and had to have the fairing off with 4 of them to get the top tab clicked all the way in.  We could only get one side of the top green tabs clicked in with the fairing on.  It is not a real good fit and design but if you take your time and be thorough it works just fine.
