I have about 5k on mine. Chrome is holding up well. I like the looks and they get alot of mention when out and about.

Looks great  :2vrolijk_21:
Is the screen inlay strong, when washing or servicing, no worries with denting in or breakthrough?
Thanks for the pics too.

It is thicker than it looks. I have had no problems with mine. I have two riding Buds who run them with no problems also. Not for everybody. But they match the air cleaner so there is a Wow factor.

I have them in black.  They look good and get comments, but the mesh seems to let more heat on right leg.

Haven't used the chrome ones, but the coating on the black ones is thin and very easy to scratch, especially when installing.  I had the muffler heat shields powder-coated to match the header shields, and I should have gotten the header shields done too.

Just put them on my Ultra, and actually like them more than I expected.  Look great in the sun.  I'm a little worried about cleaning them.  Time will tell.

They look great, cleaning is my concern too with the screens denting inward from pressure when wiping & polishing  :nixweiss:

I've scrubbed the mesh with the same brush I use on pipes and rims, and they seem to have held up OK.  Of course, I don't really push hard on them, but I use the same force I do on pipes/rims.

I got me some Fullsac stashed up under them shields.  Dig the way they look.
Seems the Billet A/C and the Laser shields are a popular combo.

Here's a 'not so good' pic with some lights...

Another pic...  Near Hartsel, CO.

Shields have been on since Nov/Dec last year.  No problems with cleaning.  Some Blue Magic and a gentle touch keeps them shining.
